19+ Subaru Starlink App Greyed Out

The starlink app is a badly designed “launcher” of a small handful of compatible streaming entertainment apps. So it isn't just subaru.

Subaru starlink app greyed out. Is it just me, or is that the cr*ppiest program ever? My husband and i have the same phone. First look up how to enable developer options on your phone.

For models with the starlink system • press and hold down the audio system power knob for at least 10 seconds. Now, i have a 2015 subaru legacy with the nav system, but only a galaxy note 2 and the app for mirror link on my phone just crashes out. So it’s always greyed out in my car.

Today as i was driving i plugged in my phone to use carplay but it remained grayed out. My android auto has worked from day 1. The aa app remains greyed out.

I have a 2018 premium, an iphone x, i installed the subaru starlink app on my cellphone, not mysubaru, but subaru starlink app. Being cloud based, you use your own data allowance. The system is slow to respond and prone to freezing, locking drivers out of certain features.

(subaru starlink has an extreamely low customer rating on google play. Now go to the developer options and enable usb debugging. I tried the subaru starlink, and that “works” but the phone bluetooth works better imo.

Putt is enough to drive me crazy. You can utilize subaru starlink for subscribed vehicles, access vehicle service reminders, and stay up to date with subaru events with a swipe and a tap! Now you shouldn't have as many problems connecting your phone to your car.

Subaru android auto greyed out trying to use androud auto but the buttons on the cars screen are grayed out and cant use favorites, dial pad, phonebook etc.

Plug in my iphone x to usb and the starlink app on the screen is greyed out. Hey all, if you're having problems with starlink remote control features, and (a) you've already set up your pin, and (b) you know you shouldn't be, then: Magellan nav is supposedly one of them.

Working with subaru starlink multimedia, apple carplay is the smarter, safer way to use your iphone in your vehicle. I play with them and starlink shows a number of added apps, but android auto has only google map and a poor phone app. Kill the app or otherwise shut it down.

The starlink app is required to enjoy starlink multimedia content from your mobile device in your subaru. Usb is the only connection used by androidauto (and carplay) in the subaru system. It does nothing, does not work at all.

Spoke to the salesman about the issue and luckily found a solution! In theory, it uses your phone's data plan to connect to the internet to access news, weather, and clear channel's iheartradio app.
